About the job
Project Proposal:
Include the reviews from each unit to create a single, comprehensive technical specification that complies with the owner’s expectations as well as rules and regulations.
Contact the external consultant, if necessary.
Define the project’s overall engineering scope in collaboration with the heads of each unit.
Follow/review all technical material necessary for proposal submission, including but not limited to the Pre-BOM, Equipment List, and Technical RFQ.
Project Design & Preparation Phase
Complete the consulting agreement.
Complete the Classification Society Agreement.
Final project scope is reviewed and frozen.
Prepare the Engineering Department Plan in collaboration with the heads of the Engineering Units.
Maintain server updates and control the project database.
Give any new technology reports that are needed for the project.
Review approvals from the Classification Society.
Project Execution Phase
Examine the onsite technique and the work instructions given to production.
Review the Q.C. NCR responses supplied, and if permission is needed, get in touch with the classification society.
Follow and/or update the department plan’s implementation.
Participate in project meetings and meet their demands.
Create reports for structural analysis using ANSYS as needed.
Prepare/examine the preliminary stability booklet(s) for the vessel.
If necessary, prepare or review the mooring analysis.
Other Statutory publications need to be prepared or reviewed.
Make plans for the 3D Coordination conference and work to resolve the outcomes.
BOM, equipment list, and relevant tech RFQs and PRs are updated in the future.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture).
Minimum Experience:
5 years of experience in a similar job in the Marine/offshore Industry.
